a few days back from paris and just having got my voice back (it was entirely gone for the last 2 days in paris), I went by night-train to bologna to find some beautiful leathers and materials for our upcoming rosa mosa collection aw11/12. The super-plus of this trip was that I got a kingsize compartment with shower and bathroom integrated on my own which I actually hadn’t booked. The absolute minus point of this train though is it’s arriving time: 4:45 a.m. bologna centrale; if you don’t have dear local friends you would be never tempted to go for it. The old Italian streets and gallerias are empty at this early time of the day as you can see, with the first caf? opening it’s doors only at 5h30. It’s basically a little nightmare. After 2 or 3 capuccinos in the morning and a whole day at the leather fair I finally got to check in at my hotel and admired the view of my room located just under the roof. would you believe that I do love my job?
how should I put it? maybe like this that we all feel pretty exhausted but happy. after paris fashion week we are now almost done with sales for ss11, and our products will be placed once more in the best shops around the world. on top of that we have furthermore been asked to do design cooperation work for some of our most prestigious client. and that makes us feel proud and happy of course. the images below taken in paris last week show in this order the view of our hotel-window showing the opposite hotel, our paris ofrenda installation, 5 pairs of feet all wearing rosa mosa shoes in the paris metro, and finally the ‘premiere classe’ tent one day after the show, which is pretty much giving an insight of how we all feel right now…
